Charges for William Ratliff include evading arrest, marijuana possession

A Bandera man is facing multiple charges after he led Kerr County sheriff's deputies on a wild chase Thursday afternoon.

Sheriff's deputies said the chase started around 3:30 p.m. when a deputy clocked 28-year-old William Ratliff speeding and tried to pull him over.

Sheriff's deputies said Ratliff sped away and led the deputy on a 12 mile chase that reached speeds up to 120 miles per hour.

Ratliff was also seen throwing several items out the vehicle during the chase.

Deputies finally caught Ratliff when he hit downtown Kerrville and turned into a Cul-de-sac.

Deputies had to use pepper spray on Ratliff to get him into custody. Ratliff's charges include evading arrest and marijuana possession.
