Body found at South Side conv­enience store

Employee at Stanley's Ice Station discovered by passerby


Police are investigating a homicide at a South Side convenience store.
A body was found Monday morning at Stanley's Ice Station at 2542 West Southcross Boulevard.
San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said the victim was a clerk at the business who the chief described as a senior citizen.
McManus said he didn't know how the victim was killed, but the slaying happened sometime after 6:30 a.m. Monday. A passerby found him on the floor behind the counter with trauma to the body.
