Man accused of illegal exposure, lewd act at east San Antonio park
Martin Olalde accused of exposing himself to girls at Pittman-Sullivan Park
A 42-year-old man identified as Martin Olalde was arrested after a girl claimed he exposed himself to her and performed a lewd act in front of her at Pittman-Sullivan Park in east San Antonio.
The 15-year-old girl told police Olalde approached her in the parking lot Tuesday evening and exposed himself to her while he was inside his car.
"She tried to get away from him. He circled the park, came back to her a second time, started asking her if she liked what she saw. Again, she got away from the suspect," said Officer Matt Porter of the San Antonio Police Department.
The girl called a friend, who was headed to a nearby bus stop.
"At that point, she got a good description of the suspect, the license plate and she got out of there as fast as she could," said Porter. "It caught her off-guard the first time he came around, then the second time he came around, it spooked her."
When the girl's friend arrived, Olalde circled the park again and exposed himself to both girls, police said.
They called police who put out a description of Olalde and the car he was driving along with the license plate.
Patrol officers picked him up nearby, and the two teens were able to identify him in person.
