The South Texas Blood and Tissue Center requests that people call 210-731-5590 to schedule an appointment to give blood. Right now the most critical need is for O-negative and O-positive blood.
The San Antonio Food Bank stands ready to mobilize staff and the community in response to any needs the citizens and responders in West may have.
San Antonio Food Bank welcomes donations Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. For people wanting to immediately respond, the San Antonio Food Bank requests items from our “Twelve Most Wanted” list, needed by any family facing food insecurity:

- Full Meals in a Can/Box
