4 injured in head-on crash in south San Antonio

San Antonio police: SUV driver veered into path of oncoming car on South Flores


Four people were injured following a head-on collision in south San Antonio Sunday afternoon. 

San Antonio police said the driver of an SUV veered into the path of an oncoming car carrying a woman and her two young children near South Flores and Kendalia around 3 p.m.

The SUV slammed head-on into the car and critically injured a 4-year-old girl inside.

The girl's mother and brother inside the car were also injured. The girl was flown to University Hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the SUV was also taken to the hospital. Police said they would give the driver blood tests to determine if they were driving under the influence.
