SAPD: 52-year-old motorcyclist speeding, not wearing helmet

A motorcyclist was killed in an accident in northeast San Antonio late Sunday night.

San Antonio police said the motorcyclist, identified Monday morning as Leonard Goff, 52, was speeding around 10 p.m. in the 14000 block of Judson Road when he struck a curb, was ejected from the bike and landed in a grassy  field.

Paramedics responded, but could not save his life. Police said Goff was not wearing a helmet.

No other vehicles were believed to be involved in the crash.

A police report said Goff was traveling at a high rate of speed and was driving too fast for the conditions.
