Mary Korus didn’t hesitate when the victims of West called for help. She’s bringing home dinner from Texas Roadhouse tonight because 10% of all proceeds will go towards two established relief funds in West - the Victim Relief Fund and the Firefighter and EMS Fallen Hero Fund.

“This is just my way of doing my part,” said Korus, a Texas Roadhouse Diner.

The manager of the north San Antonio Texas Roadhouse said they have approximately 200 pounds of meat on hand to accommodate the crowd. He hopes not only his regular customers will come out, but those who just want to help fellow Texans.

"We got ready for much more than a normal Monday," said manager Bryan Collie. "We actually made ourselves ready for a Friday.”

According to CNN, more than $26 million have been raised in the wake of the April 15 Boston blasts. Donations for the victims of the April 17 West Fertilizer Plant explsion total well under $1 million.

The explosion killed 14 people, injured up to 200, and destroyed more than 100 homes. San Antonians hope their dinner at Texas Roadhouse tonight will go a long way.

"We're all in this together and it might be us next time," said Wayne McGiboney. "I would hope that they would do the same for us.”

In total, all 53 Texas Roadhouse locations anticipate raising more than $20,000 in tonight's dine and donate event.
