Spurs return home after series win against Golden State

SAN ANTONIO - A group of Spurs fans either showed up early or stayed up very late to watch the team's chartered flight from Oakland land in San Antonio early Friday morning.

The Spurs touched down at Landmark Aviation, on the west side of San Antonio International Airport, around 5 a.m.

The Spurs returned home after their late night series clinching win against Golden State.

Many fans stayed up all night to celebrate the win and waited for the team plane to arrive.

The crowd cheered and chanted "Go Spurs Go!" before and after the flight arrived.

Many of the Spurs players and coaches waived to the fans as they drove away from the parking lot.

The Spurs play Memphis in the Western Conference Finals next.

Game 1 tips off Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the AT&T Center. You can watch the series opener on KSAT 12.
