Woman killed by San Antonio floodwaters identified
Police: Water washed Lisuli Aguirre from the road near Nakoma
SAN ANTONIO - A woman killed by swift-moving floodwaters in north San Antonio has been identified.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Officer says she is 30 year-old Lisuli Aguirre.
Police say Aguirre was driving near Rhapsody and Warfield when rushing waters apparently pushed her from the road and pinned it in a drainage culvert.
Witnesses say Aguirre got out of her car and tried to escape the floodwaters, but was swept away.
Police and firefighters found her body in the 400 block of W. Nakoma.
