Man accused of taking pics of women in bathroom facing more charges
Police locate second victim in case against Kevin Esparza
SAN ANTONIO - A second alleged victim has been identified in the case against a photographer accused of taking pictures of women in his bathroom with a hidden camera.
Kevin Esparza, 52, originally was arrested in April on a charge of improper photography.
At that time, San Antonio police said that a woman using a bathroom in his home discovered a hidden camera inside what appeared to be a speaker box.
They said she viewed the memory card from the camera and found images of herself in the shower.
An arrest warrant affidavit stated that police also found about ten images of a second woman, in her underwear, on the same memory card.
It stated that through their investigation, detectives identified that second woman as an 18-year-old San Antonio resident, and confirmed with her that the pictures were taken without her knowledge.
The affidavit also stated that Esparza is a photographer by trade, and that both women were in his home for a photo shoot.
Esparza was arrested Wednesday in connection with the second case. He faces an additional count of improper photography.
