Police search for driver suspected of hitting pedestrian

Victim sent to hosptial

SAN ANTONIO - Police searched Saturday for the suspect involved in an overnight hit and run that left a pedestrian in the hospital.

The crash happened a little after 3 a.m. Saturday near Chelsea Creek and Prue Road.

Officers say the driver traveling south on Prue Road lost control and hit a man on the sidewalk.

They say that driver then ran from the scene leaving the crashed car and the injured pedestrian behind.

EMS transported the victim to University Hospital with a broken shoulder.
