Woman stabbed at NE side party

Police say fight led to stabbing

SAN ANTONIO - A stabbing left a woman injured and police surrounding a northeast side apartment searching for a suspect who they found out wasn't there.

The stabbing happened just before midnight Saturday in the 100 block of Roszell off Naco-Perrin.

Police say a fight broke out at a party and someone stabbed the woman in the legs, back and abdomen.

They say friends then drove her to a bar on Perrin-Beitel to get help.

Police say one person was arrested, but witnesses told them another suspect was still inside an apartment.

Officers surrounded that apartment for hours, but just after 9 a.m. Sunday they determined there was no suspect inside.

They say the stabbed woman suffered minor injuries.
