Baby bath seats recalled

Stroller, chan­delier, computer notebook battery recalled


Thousands of plastic bath seats for babies have been recalled because they pose a drowning danger, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The Idea Baby brand is being pulled from the market by Buy Buy Baby. The seat was sold at Buy Buy Baby and at Bed Bath & Beyond.  The Idea Baby bath seat made for One Step Ahead is also under recall notice.

A similar product, the E-Zee bath seat by BeBeLove  is also being recalled for safety reasons. The plastic seats, which have suction cups on the bottom, do not meet federal standards for stability.   

Bath seat or not, parents should never leave a small child unattended in the tub. 

Kolcraft has recalled 96,000 Jeep Liberty model strollers because of a projectile hazard. Eighteen injuries have been reported.

When the inner tire ruptures, the rim can come apart and send the pieces flying. The strollers were sold for the past three  years.

Kichler has recalled some of its chandeliers after reports of several falling from the ceiling causing thousands of dollars in property damage.

It's the Aztec model sold at Lowe's under the Portfolio name.

And, Best Buy is contacting its customers about some replacement batteries for MacBook Pro Notebook Computers. They are recalling ATG lithium-ion replacement batteries after 13 reports of the batteries catching fire while charging. One customer was badly burned.
