Driver hurt in high speed crash in south San Antonio

Driver flipped SUV, crashed into utility pole


SAN ANTONIO - A man was hospitalized after a high speed crash on the South Side early Monday morning.

According to police, the driver was speeding near Mary and South Flores streets when he lost control of his SUV, flipped and crashed into a utility pole.

The driver was taken to University Hospital for treatment. His condition was not known as of 7 a.m. Monday.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, police said.
