5 hurt in 2-vehicle collision

Driver ran stop sign at inte­rsection of Stonewall and Commercial Avenue


SAN ANTONIO - A crash on the South Side between a minivan and a truck sent five people to the hospital Sunday afternoon.

San Antonio police responded to the crash around 4:30 p.m. at Stonewall and Commercial Avenue.  

Two children were among the injured, but authorities don't believe they are life threatening injuries. San Antonio police are trying to determine who was at fault.

Witnesses told investigators one of the drivers ran a stop sign at the intersection, however, police have not said who that driver was.
