Man arrested in Wells Fargo bank robbery on Foster Road

Police used Taser on suspect

SAN ANTONIO - A man was arrested shortly after police said he robbed a Wells Fargo bank branch Tuesday morning on the city's East Side.

Police said the man walked into the bank in the 5700 block of Foster Road at 9 a.m., when he asked to go to the bathroom.

When he was denied, the man told everyone to get on the floor and displayed a weapon, police said.

The suspect was given some money and he ran away, police said.

Shortly after the robbery, officers tracked down the suspect.

When he resisted arrest, officers used a Taser to get him into custody.
