Tech Bytes: New efforts to protect younger kids online

In Tuesday's Tech Bytes, stronger online privacy rules are now in effect for kids under the age of 13.

The new regulations make it more difficult for companies to monitor pre-teens across the internet and limits the amount of personal information that can be stored.

It appears Apple is planning something new - the company has reportedly filed an application to trademark the name "iWatch."

Experts say that's a good indication that Apple is planning a wearable computer.

Twitter is making it easier to understand messages from around the world.

The site introduced a new translate button which will provide the English equivalent for messages in Spanish, Italian, and German.

And Amazon is encouraging everyone to try a new video game this summer.

The retailer has reduced the price of more than 900 titles and is offering a free game download with the purchase of an indie title.

The sale goes until July 14th.
