Gunfire hits cars, east San Antonio food mart
MLK Food Mart damaged by gunshots, suspects sought
SAN ANTONIO - A food mart on the East Side was the scene of two drive-by shootings late Monday night.
Shots were first reported around 8 p.m. Monday at the MLK Food Mart in the 3100 block of MLK near Interstate 10.
San Antonio police said no one was injured, but two cars and the store were damaged.
Officers had just finished their investigation and left when the same vehicle believed to be involved in the first shooting drove by again and someone inside opened fire.
A woman who was picking up her car, which was hit in the first drive-by, was injured by broken glass, police said.
She drove herself to an apartment complex at Commerce and Spriggsdale and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Police are searching for a dark-colored SUV in connection with both shootings. No arrests have been announced.
