SAPD searching for suspect in hit-­and-run

Crash happened north of downtown June 22


SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio Police are searching for a suspect they said struck a man at an intersection north of downtown and fled the scene.

Police said 37-year-old Domingo Gomez was seriously injured after he crossed the street at the intersection of Brooklyn Avenue and McCullough Avenue and was struck by a car on June 22 at 5:25 p.m.

Police said the driver of a dark blue 4-door vehicle fled the scene. They believe the vehicle may have front-end damage and a broken windshield.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP (7867).

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5000.00 for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible.
