The crash in the 13000 block of Jones Maltsberger Road near Money Tree Road killed 21-year-old Daniel Foster and injured two 19-year-old women.

According to a police report, Foster was driving a 2004 Dodge Neon in the inside Northbound lane of Jones Maltsberger when he veered left and crossed the marked median and struck a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder head-on in the Southbound lane.

Foster died on impact. The driver of the SUV and her passenger were taken to University Hospital.

A San Antonio police sergeant at the scene said alcohol was found inside Foster's vehicle, but police have not determined if alcohol played a factor in the crash.
