SAN ANTONIO - Universal City police arrested a teen Thursday in connection with a fatal drive-by shooting.
Maurice Williams-Brunson, 19, has been charged with manslaughter in the April 6 death of Jeremy Moore, 22.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Moore was riding in the back seat of a car Williams-Brunson was driving. Another person was in the passenger's seat.
Witnesses told police they saw Williams-Brunson leaning out of the driver's side window of the black and white Crown Victoria firing a hand gun as he engaged in a gun battle with the occupants of a gold or tan Buick in the 400 block of West Wright. Moore was shot in the back of the head.
Police later searched the Buick for evidence and said they found bullet holes and what appeared to be blood. A trace evidence report showed particles from a discharged firearm were detected on Williams-Brunson's hand.
A warrant was issued for Williams-Brunson's arrest on Monday.
