Abandoned puppy found tied to electrical box in north San Antonio
Puppy was tied up under intersection, expected to be OK and put up for adoption
SAN ANTONIO - A puppy terrier mix was taken to the San Antonio Humane Society after a resident found it tied to an electrical box on the North Side.
The Humane Society says the resident found the puppy Wednesday afternoon under the Loop 1604 and Highway 281 intersection.
The puppy was left with no water or protection from the heat.
The Humane Society named the puppy Sparkie. They say he is about 6-weeks-old and will remain in foster care until he is 8-weeks-old and ready for adoption.
Other than some ticks and fleas, the puppy appears to be in good condition, the Humane Society said in a press release.
