San Antonio police seek suspect in fatal motorcycle hit-and-run

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio police are asking for the public's help as they search for a driver involved in a deadly hit and run crash last December.

According to police, Guillermo Benavides was riding his motorcycle on West Avenue at Nassau on Dec. 19, 2012, when he was hit from behind by a silver Chrysler 300.

Guillermo was thrown from the bike and run over by the Chrysler as the driver fled the scene.

The driver is wanted for failure to stop and render aid resulting in a death.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
