SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Police Department has requested the public's help in locating and identifying a murder suspect.

The body of Alfredo Barrera, 57, was found behind a barber shop in the 300 block of Valley Hi on October 23, 2012.

According to police, Barrera had been stabbed several times in his stomach and chest. He was homeless and lived in a shed behind the shop.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. The number to call is (210) 224-STOP (224-7867). Callers may remain anonymous.
