Woman injured during 'officer in trouble' call

Victims suffered minor injuries

One woman is injured while police respond to an "officer in trouble" call.

It happened around 11 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of San Pedro Avenue and West Rector Drive.

An officer was responding to the call, going through intersections with his siren on, when a 16-year-old girl made a left hand turn and hit the patrol car.

The officer's vehicle spun around, kicking up gravel.

A woman nearby was treated for minor injuries caused by the gravel.

The officer was not injured.
