SAPD arrest second suspect in violent home invasion
Javier Arias, 24, taken into custody
SAN ANTONIO - SAPD have arrested the second suspect in a violent home invasion on the city's West side.
Javier Arias, 24, was taken into custody Saturday night in connection with a home invasion at the Pan-American Apartments in the 100 block of Northwest 36th street.
On Friday, police said two armed men entered a residence where four adults and a toddler were inside.
Once inside, police said a scuffle broke out, and one of the alleged intruders was fatally stabbed in the head. He died at the scene, but his name has not been released.
Police said one of the victims was stabbed in the leg and another victim was pistol-whipped, but said both victims were expected to be okay.
Arias allegedly fled the scene, but was tracked down by officers on Saturday. He has been charged with aggravated robbery.
