William Vidal, Oscar Delgado facing capital murder charges
A pair of men, both age 22, have been named as suspects in an April 2012 triple shooting on the South Side which left two of the victims dead.
William Vidal was arrested Monday on a charge of capital murder. Oscar Delgado was named as a suspect in the same arrest warrant affidavit, but has not been arrested or formally charged yet.
Both are accused of taking part in the April 2012 shootings of Arturo Pagan and Anthony Guevara, who were both 18-years-old at the time. A third person who was wounded in the shooting survived.
The three victims were all leaving a party in a car when someone in another vehicle fired the shots at them near Pecan Valley Road and Pollydale Street.
Police said the shooting survivor told them the gunshots came from a black Ford Focus, the affidavit stated.
Investigators said they discovered the gunfire came from an AK47 assault rifle, the affidavit stated. The affidavit stated that a witness told police he heard the suspects discussing the shootings.
He said they planned the killings in retaliation for an earlier home invasion and shooting, the affidavit stated. Vidal was booked into the Bexar County jail Monday with bond set at $1 million.
