Redus family releases second statement

University of the Incarnate Word student Cameron Redus fatally shot by UIW officer

SAN ANTONIO - Following is a statement dated Dec. 10 from the family of Cameron Redus, who was shot and killed by a campus police officer.

"Over the last several days, the Alamo Heights Police Department and the University of the Incarnate Word have given several press statements selectively releasing limited amounts of information. We are kindly requesting that judgment be withheld until the entire body of unbiased information is available to everyone involved. We are confident that when all the facts are considered, Officer Carter's use of force will be judged as excessive and completely unjustifiable."

The statement is the second the family has released. Click here to read the first statement.
