Bexar County sheriff's: Driver armed, had active felony warrant

A high-speed chase ended with three people in custody, including the driver who was wanted on felony warrants.

The chase began just before 3 a.m. Thursday on Wilderness Oak in far north Bexar County.

Bexar County sheriff's deputies spotted a suspicious pickup truck and said the area has been hit by recent burglaries.

Authorities followed the truck for miles at high speeds and said the chase finally came to an end near downtown San Antonio at Live Oak and East Houston streets.

Authorities said the female driver was armed and had an active felony warrant. All three people in the truck were charged with evading arrest. It was unknown if the group was connected to any burglaries.
