Investigation uncovers $100k in stolen equipment
1 man arrested in connection with thefts
More than $100,000 worth of stolen tools and electronics have been recovered in a joint law enforcement investigation.
The items, mostly industrial-type tools, also included electronics and were recovered from Fey's Boat and Camper Storage in Selma.
San Antonio police investigators worked with -- and shared information with -- three different agencies to during the investigation: Bexar County Sheriff's investigators, Converse police and Selma police.
"We normally work well together, but today, especially so," said San Antonio police spokesman Sgt. Javier Salazar.
Salazar said authorities executed two separate search warrants -- one at the storage facility, the other at a home on the 200 block of Kimberly in Converse.
"At the Converse address, they arrested one male," said Salazar.
The 32-year-old man's name has not been released.
Salazar said investigators have not ruled out the possibility that others may have been involved.
"Right now, I'm up to $140,000 that they stole from me and this is the second incident," said JC Cisneros, as he was picking up some of the items stolen from him.
Cisneros says his storage unit was burglarized last month.
"They took probably 10-15 tool kits," Cisneros said.
