Man charged in sexual assault of 6-year-old girl
Suspect said victim asked him to do it
Twenty-five-year-old Fausto Abel Frias is in the Bexar County Jail after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 6-year-old girl on three occasions.
He told investigators he sexually assaulted her after she asked him to.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Frias initially denied assaulting the girl but eventually confessed.
Court documents state the three incidents took place last December.
The first alleged assault happened in the suspect's car, the other two times were in the victim's bedroom.
After all of them, the suspect told the 6-year-old not to tell her mother.
Last Thursday, police questioned Frias about the allegations being made against him.
He told the detective that the 6-year-old initiated the contact in the car and in her bedroom by climbing on top of him.
Investigators have not released how Frias knows the victim. He now faces a felony charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Frias is being held on a $75,000 bond.
