Robbers target stores on Nogalitos, Jones Maltsberger

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio police are on the lookout for the suspects they believe are behind two separate robberies.

The first robbery reportedly occurred at a mini market around 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 2600 block of Nogalitos.

SAPD officials said two men walked into the store, fired shots at the ceiling and ground, then demanded cash. They fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

About two hours later, police said two men walked into a food store in the 8000 block of Jones Maltsberger Road and robbed the store in the same manner.

The robbers fled on foot with an unknown amount of money. Police believe the robberies were connected because witnesses gave police the same description of the suspects.

No injuries were reported in the either robbery, police said.
