DPS launches sex offender registry app

App allows users to submit tips, report suspicious behaviors

SAN ANTONIO - The Department of Public Safety Monday launched a new mobile app that gives you access to the state's sex offender registry and other lists.

The new app allows users to submit tips if they see someone wanted.

It also allows folks to report suspicious behaviors.

You will also be able to find detailed information regarding some of the state's most wanted criminals and sex offenders, as well as information on human trafficking cases based on location.

The app is available for free on both iPhones and Android phones.
