Defender Blog: Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center
Center provides free problem solving
SAN ANTONIO - The Defenders are all about solving problems. That's what we do.
But we can't solve everyone's problems, so here's a way to take matters into your own hands and hopefully get a resolution that is acceptable to all parties.
We've told you before that a complaint to the Better Business Bureau might help resolve a dispute.
The Texas Attorney General's Office is another entity that might help to bring about a solution. But did you know about the Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center?
The BCDRC is located in the Cadena-Reeves Justice Center at 300 Dolorosa, Suite 1102. Here's a link to their website.

Basically, however, the BCDRC is a free resource that can help mediate disputes of all kinds between parties.
You are eligible to receive these services if either party in the dispute lives in Bexar County or operates a business there. There are about 6,500 applications for service each year and 1,500 mediations scheduled according to the website. What's more, there's a 75% dispute settlement rate.
Good luck solving problems! And remember, the Defenders are always willing to listen.
