San Antonio Zoo tigers rip into Heat
Zoo holds rally in support of Spurs
SAN ANTONIO - The tigers at the San Antonio Zoo took part in their own rally Tuesday in support of the Silver and Black.
And while they can't literally cheer for the Spurs, they showed their support by using brute force on some Heat paraphernalia.
Spurs fans went crazy Tuesday as a female Sumatran tiger named Kemala showed up to tear up boxes with Heat jerseys painted on them.
It took Kemala a little while to warm up to the idea but eventually she knocked down the Dwayne Wade box.
Then, a little later, she took things out on LeBron James.
The tigers weren't trained to attack all things Heat-related. The boxes are used as part of an enrichment program at the zoo.
There are two Sumatran tigers at the zoo, a male and female. The male, named Raguno, didn't take part in the rally.
Tuesdays feature half-price admission through Aug. 20.
