BOERNE, Texas -- A Boerne teenager who threatened a Columbine-style attack at Boerne Champion High School in August has been returned to jail.
Allen Doelitsch, 18, was previously released in late October from the Kendall County jail on a $100,000 bond. Doelitsch admitted to the court he had smoked marijuana, even though a urine test did not detect the drug, Kendall County officials said, and a judge revoked the teenager's bond.
Doelistch was arrested in late August after allegedly sending text messages to a friend plotting an attack at the high school. Doelitsch told KSAT 12 News in a subsequent interview that he never really intended on carrying out any attack and blamed his thoughts on depression.
Since his arrest and first release, Doelitsch has been banned from Boerne Independent School District property.
