According to several posts on the district’s Facebook page, water is available but not able to be distributed.

The outage was first reported Sunday afternoon.

The district’s post said specialists are troubleshooting but people should expect to be without water Sunday night and possibly Monday.

The decision to cancel school was made just after 7 p.m. There was little information available as to how many people in the town of just over 2,500 people were impacted by the water outage.

Junction is a little more than 100 miles northwest of San Antonio.
