Matthew McConaughey has a new role in life -- he's now a dad.According to People magazine, the actor and his girlfriend, Camila Alves, had a son Monday night.McConaughey's representative, Alan Nierob, said that the baby was born at 6:22 p.m. in Los Angeles and weighed in at 7 lbs., 4 oz.
The boy, named Levi, is the first child for the couple."Camila and I were side by side the entire time," McConaughey told OK! magazine. "We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest miracle in the world -- having a child and making a family. Now comes the greatest adventure -- raising one, together."McConaughey recently starred in the romantic comedy "Fool's Gold" with his "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" co-star Kate Hudson.He's also starred in such hits as "The Wedding Planner," "U-571," "Contact" and "A Time to Kill."
