SAN ANTONIO -- KSAT 12 and ABC's "Extreme Makeover" will hold auditions in San Antonio on Saturday, July 19, at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Mall.

Producers are looking for people who would like to be whisked away to Hollywood to receive star treatment and a complete extreme makeover.

South Texas residents who are at least 21 years old are eligible to audition.

Prospective participants must be able to spend several days undergoing the makeover process and another four to seven weeks for recovery (if needed).

Participants are asked to show up without any makeup on and must be able to show the body parts that may be involved in the makeover.

"Extreme Makeover" has aired on ABC for two seasons and has been very popular with South Texas viewers. Producers of the show are interested in finding local people who really feel like their physical appearance has affected their life in one way or another.

Viewers hoping to audition must complete an application and bring it with them to the audition, along with a photocopy of their driver's license and two photos.
