Rumors Quashed Over Affleck, Garner Wedding

NEW YORK -- Responding to published reports Sunday, actor Ben Affleck's publicist, Ken Sunshine, denied the rumors that Affleck had secretly wed Jennifer Garner in West Virginia this weekend, Access Hollywood reported.

Sunshine offered a clear and emphatic "not true!" when Access Hollywood contacted him.

A source very close to Garner also denied the story.

Affleck met Garner, star of TV's "Alias," while shooting the action flick "Daredevil." Affleck has made only one public appearance with Garner -- at the 2004 World Series in Boston.

Affleck was famously engaged to another Jennifer -- Jennifer Lopez -- back in 2002. They called it off more than year later, and just days before they were to walk down the aisle.

Garner met her former husband, actor Scott Foley, on the set of "Felicity." The two were married in October 2000 and divorced in March 2004.
