Following is a schedule of events for the 35th annual Cowboy Breakfast that will be held at Cowboys Dancehall on Friday.

  • 4:30 a.m.: Serving begins
  • 4:30-9:00 a.m.: Mechanical bull riding
  • 5 a.m.: Main stage, emcee Jackie Van De Walle, chairman emeritus of the ACCD Foundation
  • 5:05 a.m.: Invocation
  • 5:10 a.m.: National Anthem
  • 5:15-6:45 a.m.: Main stage, Mario Flores & The Soda Creek Band
  • 6:45-7:00 a.m.: Main stage area, exhibition by gunslingers The Texas Wild Bunch
  • 7:00-7:15 a.m.: Main stage area, Cow Chip Contest
  • 7:15-8:30 a.m.: Main stage, Mario Flores & The Soda Creek Band
  • 8 a.m.: At Cowboys Dancehall, doors and bar opens, with live music to follow
  • 9 a.m.: Breakfast ends (probably earlier; the food usually runs out before 8:30 a.m.), cleanup begins

NOTE: Throughout the morning, The Texas Wild Bunch gunslingers will interact with the crowd
