Welcome to the jungles of Hollywood, Slash!

The legendary rocker was honored with the a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Tuesday.

Longtime friend Charlie Sheen braced the heat to support the Guns N' Roses guitarist.

Slash revealed his appreciation for being recognized by his old stomping grounds of Hollywood, while Sheen took a dig at Slash's estranged relationship with Axl Rose.

Sheen:
"It's quite fitting, I think, that Slash is getting a star on the very street that Axl Rose will one day be sleeping on."
"I then looked up the word 'winning.' This was defined by one word: 'Slash.'"

Slash:
"I'm such a part of the scenery. I went to school here, started playing guitar here, reheasrsed literally a hundred yeards down the street, and ditched the better part of the seventh and eighth grades with my good friend Steven Adler coming up here and hanging out at the head shops looking at the Led Zeppelin posters. But I got a very technicolor education up here. And so I've been part of the Hollywood fabric for a long time. To actually be appreciated by the city of Hollywood is a huge, huge honor."
