SAN ANTONIO – After some fast (and sometimes wildly out of step) dances, the jive or the quick step will be the end for one of the top twelve couples. Here's where they stood with the judges this week:

  • Sabrina & Louis: 26 points
  • Gilles & Peta: 25.5 points
  • Shawn & Derek: 25 points
  • Apolo & Karina: 24.5 points
  • Melissa & Tony: 23.5 points
  • Helio & Chelsie: 23 points
  • Joey & Kym: 22.5 points
  • Drew & Anna: 22.5 points
  • Emmitt & Cheryl: 22.5 points
  • Kelly & Val: 22 points
  • Kirstie & Maks: 21 points
  • Bristol & Mark: 18 points

After that, the first four couples take the stage to learn their fates – but they have to wait through a commercial break to hear the results. TORTURE. Sabrina & Louis, Emmitt & Cheryl and Drew & Anna are safe. Joey & Kym are in jeopardy. OH, COME ON! HIS QUICK STEP WASN'T THAT BAD, AMERICA!

Next week, there will be a double elimination. TWO COUPLES, not one, will be sent home. Sorry for all the CAPS, I'm getting angry. Brooke asked four couples what they thought about that. I hit FF because I'm pretty sure they just don't want to go home – whether it's a single or quadruple elimination.

It's our first official taped time filler of the night. This one includes the pros talking about not wanting to let down the stars. FF.

It's time for the Macy's Stars of Dance! There was smoke! There was acrobatics! There was dramatic music!

The DWTS Troupe performed a medley of dances.

The next four couples take the stage to learn their fates. Shawn & Derek, Kirstie & Maks and Bristol & Mark are safe. Kelly & Val are in jeopardy.

Kathryn Jenkins & Placido Domingo performed "Come What May."

The remaining four couples take the stage to learn their fates. Gilles & Peta, Melissa & Tony and Apolo & Karina are safe. Helio & Chelsie are in jeopardy.

One more commercial break before the final business of the evening. Kelly & Val and Helio & Chelsie are safe. Joey & Kym are going home. America, have you forgotten how good some of these couples have been on the show or are you going clean slate – like you never saw them dance before? That's it. I'm going to start voting.
