Fiesta events, Selena brunch take over weekend

SAN ANTONIO – It's the last weekend of Fiesta and there is plenty to do around town, including a brunch inspired by the Tejano legend, Selena.

Fiesta San Fernando: The cathedral hosts this event that features food, entertainment, arts and crafts and family fun. The event ends Saturday at midnight.

King William Fair & Parade: The fair and parade take place Saturday in the King William District. The King William Fair began in 1968 and continues to be a favorite for families. The parade on Saturday begins at 9 a.m.

Fiesta Pooch Parade: Here is an event for your four-legged friend. The event includes a costume contest and a 2.6-mile walk through Alamo Heights. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. 

Festival De Cascarones: Texas A&M San Antonio hosts one of the last events of Fiesta. It is on Sunday from 1 to 8 p.m. Parking and admission is free. The Last Bandoleros and Girl in a Coma will be performing.

Viva Selena! Drag Brunch: The rooftop bar Paramour will be hosting all things Selena on Sunday. Their will be performances, breakfast tacos and themed Selena and Fiesta cocktails. The brunch is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
