Tweets from the Trump family showed the San Antonio beagle posing in front of the Washington Monument, having fun in snow in Aspen, Colorado, and “taking a his first train ride in the Big Apple!”

Animal Care Services picked up Ben in April 2016, where he was found covered in severe mange.
Once medically evaluated, Rescue Dogs Rock NYC picked up the beagle from ACS and took the pup to New York.

The group connected with President Donald Trump’s son, Eric Trump, and his wife, Lara, who are advocates of the #AdoptDontShop movement.

The couple initially fostered Ben but later decided to adopt him last August, making him an official member of the Trump family.

“We've gotten quite a few pictures of him! He's happy and spoiled,” said Gerry Leah Zavala, ACS rescue foster supervisor. “And he's got the life we hope for all of our pets.”
