SAN ANTONIO -- Natasha Armendariz loves her 1996 Ford Mustang GT.
But apparently not as much as she loves Porkchop, her English Bulldog.
Armendariz is willing to let go of her vintage vehicle in hopes of being reunited with Porkchop, who was stolen Thursday from the the front yard of her home on the city's South Side.
"Drastic times call for drastic measures," Armendariz said. "I'm going to put my car up for my dog."
Armendariz has put a lot into the car, including a custom-built Cobra motor, an off-road H pipe and the rims were changed to bullets. The souped-up vehicle also has a leather interior and a brand new convertible top.
The unusual reward is getting a lot of attention. People driving by Armendariz's home are stopping to read the flyers on the front of her car and on traffic signs.
While some people have told Armendariz that the reward is too high, she said she knows what she's doing.
"To me, it's nothing," she said of the car. "It's (a) material item that I can get back. He's my child and I feel like somebody's taken my child."
