SAN ANTONIO -- The clink of wine glasses and the aroma of gourmet dishes will be showcased around the city in October at the 2003 San Antonio New World Wine & Food Festival.
During a news conference Wednesday at Central Market, the festival's official poster was presented and details were announced.
San Antonio Mayor Ed Garza invited residents and visitors to the festival, which runs from Oct. 9-12.
"It's this kind of festival that does inspire us to do more ... and to take a more active role in culinary here in San Antonio," Garza said.
The festival will showcase food and wine products from various places around the world, including Texas and Australia.
