No Makeup Days For SCUCISD Students

TEA Approves District's Waiver Request

SAN ANTONIO -- The eight days of school that students in the Schertz-Cibilo-Universal City Independent School District missed because of the swine flu outbreak will not need to be made up, district officials said Friday.

The Texas Education Agency approved the district's waiver request for the missed school days, meaning that the students will have Memorial Day off and the school year will end as scheduled on June 4.

The students returned to school Thursday.
