SAN ANTONIO -- While Hayden Henshaw has recovered from the swine flu, things are just now settling down for him and his family.
"I'm feeling great right now," Hayden said. "The symptoms are all gone. They said, 'I'm clear, no more testing.'"
Hayden's confirmed case of swine flu, along with that of a fellow student, prompted the closure of schools in the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District in early May for eight days.
Hayden's family was quarantined for almost two weeks while he underwent several tests, including throat swabs through his nose.
Patrick Henshaw, Hayden's father, said the quarantine was tough on his family.
"People would cross the street and walk on the other side of the street, and cars would drive by real slow and look," he said. "It was like, 'What did we do?'"
Henshaw said that "Inside Edition" called his house almost 200 times in one day. When the family finally agreed to an interview, it was to show people they were just a regular family.
