SAN ANTONIO -- Doctors in San Antonio are seeing fewer cases of swine flu.
Dr. Fernando Guerra of the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District attributed the decline partially to people doing what they're supposed to do to prevent the spread, like hand washing and using hand sanitizer.
Guerra also said the San Antonio area was one of the first to see H1N1 cases, so it is one of the first communities to see it go.
"I think we are now to where it is on the downward side," Guerra said.
While cases of the swine flu have declined in San Antonio, doctors are reporting that the seasonal flu is on the rise again and the vaccine may be hard to get.
Many pharmacists told KSAT 12 News on Tuesday that they were out of the seasonal flu vaccine and they will not be getting anymore anytime soon.
Claudia Lozano was on her way to Walgreen's to get a flu shot, when she found out they were not available anymore.
"That's no good because you get real sick, especially like me, I have asthma," Lozano said.
Guerra said doses that were allocated to San Antonio were depleted in a matter of four to six weeks.
Since major carriers are out of the seasonal vaccine, people may have to rely on their own personal physicians if they want the flu shot this season, Guerra said.

Even though you a pharmacy is listed as having the flu shot available, doctors recommend that you call ahead.
